I have chosen the theme of natural reaction as I feel this theme is broad enough to enable me to expand and extend my ideas throughout the year. For this project I am exploring the idea of rust, corrosion, erosion and the wearing away of materials.
I have built up a sketchbook ready to commence sampling. I felt my initial ideas and drawings failed to communicate my concept well enough. I want to experiment with unusual processes within my sketchbook and knit, using media such as plaster of Paris, Modroc, wall plaster, latex and expanding foam. From what I have already began with in my sketchbook it seems to be commincating well.
